Thanks to our many sponsors, supporters and volunteers, along with all those who purchsed bouquets of daisies either through pre-sales or by dropping by one of our many downtown Toronto selling locations, $63,000 was raised by the 2009 Spring for Life campaign!!
CANFAR funded research is helping scientists get even closer to achieving a preventative vaccine, the best hope for ending the AIDS epidemic, so thank you to everyone for their support.

During the first week of Spring, CANFAR raises awareness and support for HIV/AIDS. We do this through our annual flower-selling campaign, Spring for Life.
Spring for Life 2009 took place in Toronto on Wednesday, March 18th and Thursday, March 19th.
We sold cheerful gerbera daisies in Toronto's downtown core in the following locations:
First Canadian Place Manulife Centre TD Centre Scotia Plaza Royal Bank Plaza Eaton Centre Wellesley subway station Yonge/Bloor subway station Union subway station
Beautiful, vibrant bouquets sell for $5.00.
All funds raised through Spring for Life support CANFAR-funded HIV and AIDS research. Research done here in Canada helps men, women and children around the world live longer, healthier lives.
